ReplyDeleteWell this is just more of a objectives based list. I have another list which is suited more for kill point battles. I will prob post that next week after I get my showcase up this weekend.

That looks like a legit list. I have never played against a deathhwing army. the battle between blood angels and deathwing armies would be an interesting one.
ReplyDeleteI've played DA vs BA only once and it was very short game: at the 2-nd turn I was lucky enough to destroy Stormraven, immobilize Furiozo just in the middle of the table (I love Cyclos :)) and kill Mef (he tried to assoult a pack of SS/TH termies). After that my opponent surrendered :)

well, what I would say aabout your list is that I have a hard time seeing an assault squad holding a base objective, you could maybe use a 10 man sniper squad,and that you want to kit the death company out with as many power weapons as you can, the optimal setup for a 9 man squad would be 3 pw's and 6 boltguns, and the chappy of course. I would advise against taking power fists for them, as that kills the initiative bonus they garner from furious charge. I use a stormraven to transport them, as it is an assault vehicle, however this is simply apersonal preference.
just watched ur video. Now I am eager to play a Deathwing army just to see how I do. The way I like to use this list as an objective based list is to tie up his units with my close combat troops and then take the objectives with the tactical squads and their rhinos.
